DWI Crash Leads to Akeley City Clerk’s Arrest

Kristi Lee Kath, a 58-year-old resident of Nevis, was arrested for third and fourth degree DWI. A deputy from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office saw her involved in a car accident on Tuesday, January 23rd, in Nevis. As per the incident report, the accident took place at 7:35 p.m. on State Hwy. 34, west of County 82, also known as 210th Street. The vehicle involved was a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Kath currently serves as a clerk for the city of Akeley.
