DWI Charge for Man after Perinton Rollover Crash

In Perinton, N.Y., a man named Elvin Tablada, 52, is facing charges of driving under the influence after he drunkenly crashed into another car carrying four people. Tablada, who suffered severe injuries, was taken to the hospital, while the two adults and two children in the other car sustained minor injuries. According to Monroe County’s sheriff deputies, the incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. on East Jefferson Road, where responders discovered and rescued Tablada from his rolled-over car – he was the only occupant.

The investigators revealed that Tablada, who resides in Macedon, veered across the yellow line while driving west, resulting in the collision. Due to a previous DWI conviction, Tablada is being charged with Felony DWI as well as aggravated unlicensed operation. East Jefferson Road was briefly closed following the incident but has since reopened.
