Prominent NFL draft prospect T’Vondre Sweat was involved in a vehicular accident before his arrest for drunk driving. The accident occurred when Sweat’s 2023 Ford Bronco was rear-ended by a 2020 blue Dodge sports car on a Texas freeway, causing Sweat’s vehicle to flip on its side. Remarkably, Sweat, who stands at 6 foot 4 and weighs 366 pounds, emerged from the wreck seemingly unharmed. However, during an ensuing police investigation, the officers found signs of intoxication on his part. The ex-University of Texas defensive lineman had “glassy eyes” and his car gave off a “burnt marijuana” smell. Sweat was subsequently taken to Travis County Jail and was charged with DWI around 2:12 PM. He was released roughly two hours later and refrained from commenting about the incident. Prior to his arrest, Sweat, who won the 2023 Outland Trophy, was anticipated to be a potential second or third-round draft pick.
