An incident occurred on April 6, 2024, at 11:14 p.m., at 6907 Whitsett Avenue, Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LAFD) Rescue 89 was in the process of clearing a medical call on Whitsett Avenue when their ambulance was hit by a Honda sedan. Not only did the driver collide with the ambulance, but also crashed into a parked car down the road. No LAFD members were injured in the incident. The sedan driver was assessed on the scene but was not taken to a hospital. Officers from the Valley Traffic Division performed a field sobriety test on the sedan driver, determining him to be under the influence. The man was consequently arrested. Open containers of beer were discovered inside his vehicle.
