Williamson Man Charged with DWI After Marion Crash: Sheriff

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Christopher Ford, a resident of Williamson, in connection with a car accident that occurred in Marion. Shortly after responding to the accident, the deputies charged the 59-year-old man with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and additional vehicular and traffic violations. Ford was then asked to take routine tests, but he failed them and was arrested on charges of DWI before being moved to the Wayne County Jail. There, Ford declined a chemical test to determine his Blood Alcohol Content (BAC). He is set to respond to the charges in a local court at a future date.
