Savannah Man Faces DUI, Weapon Charges After Seneca Falls Crash

A man from Savannah has been accused of drunk driving and possession of a weapon following a collision in Seneca Fall. Authorities claim that he was embroiled in an accident on New York State Route 5 with a propane tank, leading to his arrest. The man, identified as 49-year-old Chad E. Williams, is facing multiple charges such as not using a designated lane, drink driving, unauthorized driving under the influence, and fourth-degree weapon possession. According to reports, his truck hit the rear end of a propane tanker while moving southwards on SR 5. Fortunately, neither driver sustained injuries. A dog that was also in the truck survived the crash unharmed. Williams was given a citation to appear in court at a future date in Seneca Falls to respond to the charges against him.
