Numerous DUI Arrests Common in Small States

The gallery highlights that an incidence of six DUI arrests isn’t rare, and there are many such cases in this small state. John Zickgraf, a 67-year-old man, has been arrested for DUI for the sixth time on April 4, 2024, according to The National Desk. The police were alerted to a car stopped in the middle of the road and upon arrival, the car, driven by Zickgraf, started moving. Zickgraf was pulled over shortly after, displaying signs of impairment. Zickgraf had previously been arrested five times for DUIs. Following a series of sobriety tests, officials arrested Zickgraf again, charging him with his 6th offense DUI and disregarding a police officer signal, which are classified as felonies. He was also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license. Zickgraf failed to pay his $13,000 bail. Even in the small state of Delaware, Zickgraf isn’t the first person to face six DUIs. The National Desk found 22 such cases while examining Delaware State Police records from the past few years. Moreover, 19 individuals had more than six DUI arrests.
