In Chicago, an individual ended up in the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening after his vehicle crashed on I-57 during the early hours of Sunday morning. Khadijat Dosunmu, a 30-year-old Chicago resident, is reported by Illinois State Police to have been inebriated and exceeding speed limits when her 2020 Mercedes-Benz overturned at around 2 a.m.

The accident took place in the southward lanes of I-57, close to 119th Street, with the car landing on the driver’s side after flipping over. Dosunmu has been issued citations for driving while intoxicated, exceeding safe driving speeds, improper lane usage, and operating a vehicle without insurance.
