On the 2nd of February 2024, at around 11:30 p.m., an incident occurred at 8900 Fenwick Street, Los Angeles. The incident involved LAPD Foothill officers and an alleged drunk driver. The officers pursued the suspicious vehicle for approximately 6 minutes until a collision took place at the intersection of Foothill and Fenwick. Both the LAPD SUV and the suspect’s vehicle crashed into each other causing the latter to overturn. Post the accident, the suspect was apprehended. LAFD was requested to assess the condition of the officers and the suspect. The suspect and one officer were conveyed to a nearby hospital with apparently minor injuries. The investigation is currently being overseen by the LAPD VTD.
