Webster Man Faces DWI Charges Following Wayne County Accident

Authorities have revealed that a man from Webster is now in custody following an extensive investigation of a crash that transpired last month. The man, named Andrew J. Enderlin, age 24, was apprehended by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on chargers related to driving under the influence (DUI) after being involved in a car collision in Walworth. This accident, which led to property damage, happened on Stalker Road on December 8, 2023. A field sobriety test and preliminary breath screening observed during the investigation showed signs of alcohol consumption.

Further investigations done on Enderlin’s blood sample, taken at Newark Wayne Hospital immediately after the accident, disclosed a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.19%, significantly exceeding the legal limit. On January 29, Enderlin faced numerous counts, which included DUI, aggravated DUI, and different traffic violations.

Enderlin willfully surrendered himself for processing and is slated to appear at the Walworth Town Court for further legal proceedings.
