The Rhode Island State Police with several stations across the state, reported several different cases they arrested for in Warwick between Feb. 1 and 7. The arrests were documented in the RI Trooper Log.
John Dugan, a 58-year-old resident of Warren, Rhode Island, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. on Feb. 2 for throwing items from a moving vehicle and for vandalism and destruction of property. His arrest was a result of investigating a road rage incident on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Dugan was processed at the Wickford Barracks and subsequently released to a responsible adult.
At 1:36 a.m. on Feb. 5, Stephano Gigliotti, aged 35, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and refusal to undergo a chemical test. The troopers stopped him on Rte. 95 North in Warwick, brought him to the Wickford Barracks for processing, and later released him to a responsible adult.
On Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Dusti Turner, 36, from Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested on multiple charges. These included leaving the scene of an accident causing damage, reckless driving, and a second offense of shoplifting. His arrest was due to a motor vehicle accident on Route 195 in East Providence. Following processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, he was handed over to the Johnston Police Department.
Lew Crawford, a 52-year-old from Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on Feb. 6 for failing to register as a level II sex offender. He was transferred over to the Warwick Police Department.
On Feb. 7 at 3 p.m., Cristina Paliotti, a 32-year-old from Charlestown, Rhode Island, was arrested for felony shoplifting (second offense). Her arrest followed a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Following processing at the Wickford Barracks, she was handed over to the Warwick Police Department.
