The Mt Lebanon Police Department in Pittsburgh warns motorists of two special operations scheduled in the South hills. The department announced on Facebook that a collaborative DUI patrol with multiple police departments is underway; the goal is to discourage, identify, and detain impaired drivers. Additionally, starting next week, the department will participate in an anti-aggressive driving campaign that lasts until the end of April. Additional officers will be deployed to monitor the roads for signs of dangerous driving, such as speeding, swerving, and tailgating.
