The officers tried to pull over Jose Guerrero, 42, on Highway 59, but he failed to comply, sparking a pursuit. The tense situation was swiftly defused, resulting in Guerrero’s arrest and detention.
Guerrero is accused of evading arrest, possessing a firearm illegally, and DWI. Subsequently, officials discovered this was Guerrero’s fifth DWI charge, indicating a recurring problem. His bond amount for all of these charges is currently set at $30,000.
