DUI charge near Danville school

A man from Danville got apprehended for operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs near The Danville School on March 21. The Vermont State Police identified the man as 41-year-old Paul Drew. They responded to reports of a suspicious person at 148 Peacham Road around 8:28 pm. Drew was seen in a car, breaching several motor vehicle regulations, which led to a traffic halt. During the traffic check, signs of impairment were noticed on Drew and he failed the standard field sobriety tests, leading to his arrest. Drew was processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks and has been ordered to appear before the Caledonia County Superior Court on July 8, 8:30 am to face the DUI – Drug charge.
