Donald Gillespie, a 61-year-old resident of Grant City, was apprehended by the Highway Patrol in Worth County on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 9th. Gillespie was arrested on several counts, including not driving correctly on the right half of the road when it was sufficiently wide, driving whilst under the influence as a habitual offender, not showing financial responsibility whilst operating a motor vehicle, and driving with a revoked license, this being his first offense. Following his arrest, Gillespie was detained in the Ringgold County Jail in Iowa and is currently put on a 24-hour hold.
