The Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) department reported that three of its employees were arrested for DWI in different cases. They are Angelo Abeyta, Rane Hanni, and Mateo Keyohara, are all currently on administrative leave while an investigation takes place. Fire Chief Emily Jaramillo stated that the department takes these off-duty incidents seriously and the aforementioned actions do not reflect the AFR’s mission or align with the standards set for its members. The department is also carrying out its own internal investigation and cooperating fully with law enforcement.
