DWI, Domestic Assault Arrest in Albert Lea – Police Reports

An individual has been arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and domestic assault among other charges. Carlos Vazquez Romero, aged 45, was apprehended following a call at around 5.24 am on Sunday at Larimore Circle.

In a separate incident, there were three arrests made related to warrants. On Friday, James Lee Willis, aged 56, was detained on a traffic stop near Minnesota Highway 13 and 280th Street for a Faribault County warrant and driving after cancellation that is harmful to public safety. Jamie John Kujak, 35, was also arrested later on Friday at 411 S. Broadway for a local warrant, and Jennifer Cruz Dickens, 40, was arrested on Saturday evening at Southview Lane for two outstanding Winnebago County warrants.

Furthermore, a juvenile was cited for fifth-degree assault after an altercation was reported at Albert Lea High School on Friday. A hit-and-run accident and a case of vandalized tires were also reported from the school on the same day.

On Saturday, Dustin Michael Barr, 44, was stopped in the Meadow Lane area and arrested for fourth-degree DWI.

Lastly, a house break-in was reported on Sunday evening at Frank Hall Drive.
