A man from Winthrop, named Jason M. Lucas, was arrested in Potsdam for drunk driving at nearly four times the legal limit and for indecent exposure. The 48-year-old was arrested by the local police on Monday at 12.58 p.m. for aggravated driving while intoxicated and public lewdness. Authorities stated that they received a report of Lucas exposing himself, which led them to discover he was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.31%. The legal limit for driving while intoxicated is 0.08%, and the marker for aggravated driving while intoxicated is 0.18%. The incident took place on Lawrence Avenue, but it did not occur in view of Lawrence Avenue Elementary School or any other facilities on the Potsdam Central School campus.
