At 5:38 a.m., an incident of suspicious activity was reported on Second Street in Audubon. A man was found unconscious in a business restroom, but later on, he assured the officers that he was okay after waking up unaware that he had fainted and was planning to head to Breezy Point.
At 9:49 a.m, along County Road 21, Ogema, more suspicious activity was reported involving discovered footprints around a storage unit. However, no items seemed to be missing.
A semi-truck accidentally backed into a building on Dan Street, Detroit Lakes at about 11:28 a.m. The driver was trying to reverse into a loading dock.
At 3:34 p.m., a case of fraud was reported at a home on Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes. The reporter claimed that their debit card had been unauthorizedly used.
In another incident at 10:11 p.m., a woman caused a disturbance on Eighth Street, Detroit Lakes. The police found the woman making a fuss because she was locked out of her house.
Around 10:45 p.m., there was a report of suspicious behavior at a house on Eighth Street, Detroit Lakes. A storage unit gate was found open, but no one was seen inside.
Property damage was reported at 317 Maple Drive, Detroit Lakes at 2:22 p.m. A mailbox had been damaged.
At 2:26 p.m., a female student of Detroit Lakes Middle School was reported missing, but was quickly found and handed over to her parents.
At 11:13 p.m., potential vandalism was reported on Eighth Street, Detroit Lakes. A witness claimed to see someone damaging a car tire.
At 11:49 p.m., More suspicious activity was reported on Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, at a business where a car wash door was found opened.
An electric meter was stolen from a home along Huron Drive, Detroit Lakes, as reported at 8:13 a.m.
An assault was reported at 11:25 a.m. by an Ogema resident who stated the attack happened on Christmas Eve when she was grabbed from behind by the arms.
Snowmobile mischief occurred at 1:58 p.m. on Fourth Street, Lake Park. A resident reported seeing a person riding through a residential yard.
At 4:54 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Stone Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes, when an open door was noticed at a residence.
Burglary was reported at 6:12 p.m. on Stone Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes. A condominium was broken into while the residents were away.
A traffic stop at midnight along Pow Wow Highway led to the arrest of a 38-year-old female from Ponsford for outstanding warrants.
A car accident was reported at 9:26 p.m. on 305th Avenue, Detroit Lakes. The driver, a 69-year-old man from the same city, called it in, clarifying he had accidentally triggered the emergency call on his phone. The officers noticed his speech was slurred, leading to his arrest for suspected driving while intoxicated.
Threats were reported at a house on Lake Street, Frazee. The caller claimed they had been blackmailed with threats to their life if they didn’t provide money.
At 8:21 p.m., a fire broke out at a business on Robin Street, Audubon. The cause was carbon accumulation in a pipe. No casualties were reported.
A traffic stop along 465th Avenue, Ponsford at about 10:08 p.m. led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man over outstanding warrants.
