A man from Ozark, Missouri, named Robert Harris, has been sentenced to five years in prison due to a fatal car crash in Jefferson City in 2022. Harris, aged 60, pleaded guilty to charges of DWI causing death, second-degree involuntary manslaughter, and second-degree assault. He had earlier faced charges of DWI leading to another person’s death, DWI causing serious personal injury, second-degree involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, and armed criminal action. He’s currently detained at the Cole County Jail.
A previous report stated that Harris had crossed the center line on Country Club Drive in Jefferson City, resulting in a head-on collision with a 2020 Ford Fusion, consequently killing its occupant.
