On Tuesday, a man with several DUI convictions hit and killed a pedestrian, leading cops on a chase in Orange County, say police officials. The incident occurred just past 11 in the morning on North Tustin Street, near East Walnut Avenue in Orange city. According to KTLA, the driver in a gray sedan hit a man crossing the street and subsequently fled the scene despite considerable damage to his vehicle. A patrolling officer discovered the victim on the road and, based on information provided by witnesses, directed the authorities toward the fleeing suspect.
