A graduation ceremony celebrating the achievements of participants is scheduled by the Yankton County Drug & DUI Court on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 1:30 p.m. CST. The ceremony will take place at the Yankton County Courthouse and Safety Center in Courtroom A located on the second floor. The commencement speech will be delivered by Todd Brandt, who has had a long-standing career in law enforcement and is now the director of campus safety at Mount Marty University.
The ceremony reflects the firm dedication of the Yankton County Drug & DUI Court team geared towards overcoming substance abuse. The program invites the attendance of the general public, acquaintances and kin of the graduating participants, and the local press. A reception at the same location will follow afterward.
