No college students have been injured after the motive force of a bus contracted by Gowanda Central Faculty was apparently stopped and later handcuffed by police for erratic driving Tuesday morning.
Dr. Bob Anderson, Gowanda superintendent, confirmed there was an incident involving a bus driver who had been taking the scholars — believed to be between eight to 12 and all from Gowanda — to an academic middle program in Chautauqua County. He harassed that the motive force was “not an worker of Gowanda Central Faculty or concerned a Gowanda faculty bus.”
The incident reportedly occurred earlier than 8 a.m.
