KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Division of Public Security is issuing a warning this afternoon to residents who’re driving with an expired license or license plate.
In a video posted to Twitter, KDPS says drivers within the state had been permitted to drive with an expired license or license plate below a short lived freeze that was enacted attributable to COVID-19.
They are saying the freeze expired March 31.

KDPS encourages those that proceed to drive utilizing a license or license plate with an expiration date of March 1, 2020 or later to resume their credentials or else threat being ticketed.
