A woman from Newport was taken into custody by Rhode Island State Police on a DUI charge early Monday morning. Deborah Gonzalez, 38, was apprehended at 1:21 am on Monday, January 1, subsequent to a vehicular stop on Admiral Kalbfus Road in Newport. The charge against her was “Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs with a BAC of 0.10 to 0.15 — First Offense (Phase I: 0.102%, Phase II: 0.097%).”
