A state trooper in New Hampshire was hospitalized late on Friday after a driver suspected of being under the influence hit his patrol car in New Hampton, authorities said. The incident occurred just north of Exit 23 when the trooper had pulled over a vehicle for speeding, and another vehicle crashed into the back of his patrol car, as per the New Hampshire state police’s report.
Melissa Macmullin, 43, from Kingston, New Hampshire, was the driver of the vehicle that crashed into the patrol car. She did not sustain any injuries from the incident but was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
