Fort Drum Man Charged with DWI, BAC Twice Legal Limit

In the Town of West Turin, New York, a Fort Drum resident has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, according to WWNY. Shortly past 3 p.m. on Friday, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department says they received a call about a motorist driving erratically on State Route 12.

After identifying the vehicle from its description and observing it veer onto the roadside, officers pulled it over. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Christian Rogers from Fort Drum. Upon detaining Rogers and transporting him to the Lewis County Public Safety Building, officers discovered that Rogers’ blood alcohol content was 0.16% – a figure double the acceptable legal rate.
