DWI Suspected in Montgomery County Crash Spilling Frozen Fries

After a crash involving a suspected drunk driver, a road in Montgomery County was littered with frozen french fries. The accident resulted in a tractor-trailer toppling over in a ditch. Following the crash, a suspect was arrested, with authorities attributing the accident to him forcing the truck off the road while under the influence.

The mishap occurred near the 186-mile marker of Interstate 70 on North Service Road, according to a Facebook post by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The accident led to 43,000 pounds of french fries being scattered across the roadway, necessitating the intervention of the Montgomery County Health Department.

The accident site was cleared by 9 a.m on Sunday, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigating the crash. The suspect was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, causing an accident, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. He was later detained in Montgomery County Jail.
