The Livingston County Sheriff’s Workplace and different native legislation enforcement companies are collaborating in a STOP-DWI marketing campaign via Jan. 1, 2022.
The initiative, which started Dec. 17, is a part of the Governor’s Site visitors Security Committee’s STOP-DWI Excessive Visibility Engagement Marketing campaign.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Workplace and law enforcement officials from many native and state companies shall be partaking violators of state Car and Site visitors Legal guidelines, hoping to teach and cut back the variety of crashes, accidents and deaths on Livingston County highways at instances of the 12 months when crashes usually tend to happen.
Comparable efforts are underway in Genesee, Orleans and different counties within the state.
The GTSC will conduct eight excessive visibility campaigns between Oct. 1, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2022. The vacation marketing campaign is the third marketing campaign.
The campaigns use funds awarded by the New York State STOP-DWI Basis.
