In an effort to fight drunk driving, the Monmouth County DWI Process Power may have checkpoints arrange once more this weekend in Shrewsbury and Howell.
The Shrewsbury checkpoint will start at 10 p.m. Friday on Route 35. It’ll run till 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Allenhurst Police Chief Michael Schneider, who can also be activity power coordinator, says all autos going southbound on Route 35 shall be diverted into the Avenue of the Commons purchasing middle for DWI screening.

Starting at 11 p.m. Saturday, autos shall be diverted into the Regal Plaza. The checkpoint will final till 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Members of the duty power shall be working with native police in coordinating the checkpoints.
