ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Regulation enforcement in Chemung County will participate in New York’s STOP-DWI Halloween marketing campaign to make the night time safer for households and their youngsters.
The statewide marketing campaign goals to make the roads safer on Halloween and different holidays. The announcement mentioned that regulation enforcement companies will “take part in particular efforts to cease impaired driving, stop accidents and save lives.
The STOP-DWI Excessive Visibility Engagement Marketing campaign additionally targets the Superbowl season, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day/Finish of Summer season, Thanksgiving, and the Vacation season.
County officers are urging drivers to remain sober or have a “sober plan” this Halloween by downloading the app “Have a Plan” or visiting the STOP-DWI website.
