The Vestal Police Department has reported a DWI arrest following a vehicle rollover incident on Monday morning. Police were alerted to the accident on Route 434 near Chuckster’s around 9:45 a.m., finding a vehicle flipped onto its top with the driver trapped inside.
The first responding officer noted the vehicle’s roof had been significantly damaged. After establishing communication with the driver, members of the Vestal Fire Department managed to free her from the car. She was then transported to a hospital for assessment.
The driver, identified as 42-year-old Myrtho Joseph from Apalachin, has been charged with various traffic violations. These charges include driving while intoxicated (DWI) and refusal to take a roadside breath test. The information is attributed to WBNG with all rights reserved.
