FORT WORTH, Texas — A Fort Value officer has been arrested after he was allegedly driving a police car whereas intoxicated, authorities stated.
Police instructed WFAA they had been made conscious of the officer’s alleged actions on Feb. 8. The officer, who has not but been recognized, is a 29-year veteran of the division, based on police.
Police stated the officer, on the time of the incident, was working in a “assist companies capability” and was not in uniform. In response to police, he was not interacting with the general public.
The officer was arrested for driving whereas intoxicated after an investigation, police stated. Additional particulars on the incident weren’t instantly launched.
Police stated the officer’s legal case will likely be handed to the Tarrant County District Legal professional’s Workplace. An inner investigation can be underway.
The officer was positioned on restricted responsibility and “stripped of all police powers,” police stated.
