A Northern Westchester man was arrested for alleged drunk driving after police acquired a number of calls of an erratic driver.
Marco Chacha, age 38, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, after Yorktown Police acquired a report of an erratic driver on Commerce Road heading westbound on Route 202.
Chacha allegedly failed to take care of its lane a number of occasions and was being pushed in a fashion that was “impeding different autos,” Yorktown Police stated.
When police stopped Chacha he was discovered to be intoxicated and arrested, police stated.
A blood alcohol check taken following his arrest, registered at 0.18 p.c, or greater than twice the authorized restrict, police added.
He was charged with:
- Aggravated DWI
- DWI
- A number of visitors violations
Chacha was launched on his personal recognizance and is scheduled to seem in courtroom on Thursday, June 17.
