Bryan man arrested on DWI charge after rollover crash on Sandy Point Rd

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Bryan man has been arrested on a DWI cost following a rollover crash Saturday night time on Sandy Level Street close to Nice Hill Street west of the Bryan metropolis limits.

In line with an arrest report, David Matthew Gulnac, 36, was driving a Jeep round 10:00 p.m. when he hit a van that was parked on the aspect of the highway on Sandy Level Street.

The collision resulted within the Jeep rolling over right into a ditch.

Troopers say Gulnac was having hassle standing and strolling, smelled of alcohol, has slurred speech, and his eyes had been bloodshot pink. He stated he was driving from his good friend’s home and was unable to keep away from placing the van that was on the aspect of the highway, based on the arrest report.

The driving force of the van was out of the van eradicating a deceased deer from the roadway. The arrest report didn’t specify if the van driver was injured.

Inside Gulnac’s Jeep had been a handgun and a transparent bag with capsules believed to be Xanax.

He was arrested and charged with driving whereas intoxicated-2nd, illegal carrying of a weapon, and possession of a managed substance. His bonds complete $12,000.

On-line jail information present Gulnac was arrested in 2012 on a public intoxication cost and he was arrested in 2020 on his first DWI cost.
