DUI Suspect Arrested, 3 Dead in Pomona Crash

In a late-night accident in Pomona, two people died instantly and another succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The police have identified alcohol as the cause. They arrested Victor Siharath, a 36-year-old resident of Pomona, at the scene after confirming that he was impaired due to alcohol. He was charged with suspicion of felony DUI by the Pomona Police Department.

The tragic incident occurred on White Avenue at Phillips Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. Two other individuals who were injured in the accident are still in the hospital. Siharath was the only occupant in his car.

The Pomona Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is carrying out an investigation into the accident and are appealing for any information related to the collision via a phone call to the Pomona Police Department Traffic Services Bureau at 909-620-2048.
