MONROE, CT — A Monroe man was charged with DUI and failure to show lights after police responded to a report of an erratic, black Honda Pilot within the space of Route 111 and Purdy Hill Highway early within the morning on Nov. 28.
Andrew Pickens, 46, of 175 Purdy Hill Highway, was additionally charged with disobeying the sign of an officer. In accordance with police, the officer activated lights, sirens and used the loudspeaker of his automobile to inform the driving force to cease a number of occasions.
Pickens was launched on $500 bond for a Dec. 7 courtroom date.
