SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The pinnacle physician at Sumner Regional Medical Middle mentioned the Delta variant of COVID-19 “has burned by us with a ferocity that is onerous to explain,” including “there are not any beds.”
In a public letter posted to his Fb and shared by the hospital, Chief Medical Officer Geoff Lifferth expressed his frustrations, calling the final week, “some of the exhausting and disheartening of my profession.”
