An Atmore lady is going through a number of fees after fleeing a driver checkpoint.
Fenetrias L. Lewis, 39, was charged with DUI, possession of managed substance – ecstasy, possession of a managed substance – cocaine, second diploma possession of a marijuana, tampering with proof and fleeing/making an attempt to elude regulation enforcement.
The Flomaton Police Division mentioned they may scent the odor of what they believed to be marijuana as Lewis was touring by way of a checkpoint on Previous Atmore Highway at Tulip Road Saturday. They advised her to tug over, however she fled with Flomaton officers in pursuit. She got here to a cease after touring a brief distance.
In response to police, Lewis was drunk and in possession of ecstasy and marijuana, and she or he tossed a bag with 7-grams of cocaine from the car.
