A complete of 13 drivers had been cited for unlicensed or suspended license violations at a checkpoint, police mentioned Sunday.
The checkpoint was performed from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday on Bear Valley Parkway north of San Pasqual Highway, based on Lt. Scott Walters of the Escondido Police Department’s visitors division.
A complete of 761 autos had been contacted, the lieutenant mentioned.
The division will conduct one other DUI and drivers license checkpoint in November, Walters mentioned.
Funding for the checkpoint was supplied by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
