The West Virginia State Police has introduced a sobriety checkpoint in Berkeley County starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The checkpoint can be within the 7400 block of Winchester Avenue/ U.S. 11. The secondary location can be on U.S. 11, north of the intersection of Evan Run Drive in Martinsburg in entrance of the enterprise referred to as Carpet World.
The first objective of this checkpoint is educate the motoring public concerning the results of driving impaired both by alcohol or medication, or each. Through the checkpoint, drivers can be checked for another visitors infractions as nicely. This challenge is funded by means of the Fee on Drunk Driving Prevention.
