SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Six drivers have been arrested on suspicion of driving inebriated at a checkpoint in Pacific Seashore, police mentioned Saturday.
The checkpoint was arrange by the San Diego Police Division between 9 p.m. Friday and a couple of a.m. Saturday at 2700 Garnet Ave., based on Officer Anthony Obregon.
Of the two,081 automobiles that handed by means of the checkpoint, 856 automobiles have been screened and 7 drivers have been evaluated, the officer mentioned.
Two drivers have been issued citations and 6 automobiles have been impounded.
Police have been scheduled to conduct one other DUI and driver license checkpoint or DUI saturation patrol later Saturday, Obregon mentioned.
The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Workplace of Site visitors Security by means of the Nationwide Freeway Site visitors Security Administration.
