(KSNW) The Dodge Metropolis Police Division (DCPD) made 33 DUI arrests via their DUI checkpoint throughout Dodge Metropolis Days.
“Dodge Metropolis Days is a week-long pageant held yearly,” the publish reads. “As a means to make sure the roads are saved protected from impaired drivers throughout this busy week, the Dodge Metropolis Police Division holds a DUI checklane on every of the Saturday’s of Dodge Metropolis Days.”
The efforts have been made by DCPD, The Kansas Freeway Patrol, and the Ford County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The publish was initially created by Moms Towards Drunk Driving, Heartland Area. It says on Sat. July 30, with 29 regulation enforcement officers working the checkpoint:
* 353 automobiles checked
* 54 normal area sobriety assessments performed
* 19 DUI arrests
* 27 drug and/or alcohol-related arrests
On Aug. 6, with 23 regulation enforcement officers working the checklane:
* 376 automobiles checked
* 68 normal area sobriety assessments performed
* 14 DUI arrests
* 21 drug and/or alcohol-related arrests
In complete over two nights, 729 automobiles have been checked, 33 DUI arrests have been made, and 48 alcohol and drug-related arrests have been made.
