Seven drivers who had been unlicensed or had suspended licenses had been issued citations at a checkpoint, the Chula Vista Police Department said Saturday.
The checkpoint was carried out from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight within the 300 block of East H Avenue, mentioned Sgt. Anthony Molina of the CVPD.
Of 4,416 automobiles touring by way of the checkpoint, 1,468 automobiles had been screened and 11 drivers got discipline sobriety checks, the sergeant mentioned. No drivers had been arrested for driving underneath the affect.
4 automobiles had been impounded.
Funding for the checkpoint was offered by a grant from the California Workplace of Visitors Security.
