BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — West Virginia State Police introduced at present, November 15, 2022, a DUI checkpoint has been scheduled for later within the week.
The checkpoint shall be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 alongside U.S. Rt. 19 south of the intersection with WV Rt. 41 in Beckley. The checkpoint will function from 6 p.m. to midnight.
The sobriety checkpoint’s objective is to discourage individuals from driving whereas impaired and to teach the general public in regards to the risks of driving whereas beneath the affect.
