WATERBURY — Metropolis police will workers a sobriety checkpoint Thursday as a part of an ongoing effort to curb drunken driving.
The checkpoint will happen from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. within the 3600 block of East Foremost Avenue as a part of ongoing DUI enforcement within the metropolis.
The added enforcement is funded by a program administered by the state Division of Transportation.
