LANCASTER – The Ohio State Freeway Patrol along with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Workplace and Pickerington Police Division, introduced at present that an OVI checkpoint will likely be held from 9pm -11pm tonight on Diley Street, in Fairfield County.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is deliberate to discourage and intercept impaired drivers.
The checkpoint may even be held along with close by saturation patrols to aggressively fight alcohol- associated harm and deadly crashes.
If you happen to plan to devour alcohol, designate a driver or make different journey preparations earlier than you drink. Don’t let one other life be misplaced for the mindless and egocentric act of getting behind the wheel impaired.
