The funeral service for Donald Stone Jr., deputy metropolis public works administrator who died unexpectedly on Thursday, will probably be Saturday.
Mr. Stone, 54, handed away in a neighborhood hospital.
He was a graduate of Flint Central College. He went on to attend the College of Wisconsin the place he earned his Bachelor’s diploma in Occupational Security. He later earned a Grasp’s diploma in Public Administration from the College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
He served the town of Milwaukee for greater than 20 years. In 2016 he took his abilities to Chattanooga the place he served because the Deputy Administrator for the Division of Chattanooga Public Works.
He’s the primary African American to carry this place.
He thought of his best accomplishment was turning into a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Mr. Stone will lie in state on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral House. The funeral service will comply with at 1 p.m. within the chapel with Richard Irvin because the officiant and Reverend Dr. Adam McKee because the eulogist.
