5 motorists had been arrested on suspicion of driving drunk at a checkpoint Sunday close to SeaWorld San Diego, police mentioned.
The checkpoint was performed between 11 p.m. Saturday and three a.m. Sunday at 2700 Ingraham St., mentioned Officer Anthony Obregon of the San Diego Police Department.
Of the 782 automobiles touring by the checkpoint, 654 automobiles had been screened and 6 drivers had been evaluated, the officer mentioned. Eight citations had been issued and 5 automobiles had been impounded.
Police will conduct one other checkpoint or saturation patrol on Wednesday.
