VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) — As a part of the state’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over marketing campaign, Evangeline Parish might be boosting DUI patrols via Sept. 6 and could have an impaired driver’s checkpoint someplace within the parish on Sept. 3.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned the Louisiana Freeway Security Fee Administration has awarded grant cash to the parish to carry the additional Labor Day enforcement. The checkpoint is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 3.
